🌟 Notable Performances

  • Samuel Zadeng (Mizoram): Won gold in boys' 70kg boxing, marking Mizoram's first medal in this edition.

  • Aisengfa Gogoi (Assam): Set a national youth record in 55kg weightlifting with a total lift of 183kg.

  • Khushi Yadav (Bihar): Triumphed in girls' 2000m steeplechase, clocking 9:52.10.

  • Anjali Rawat (Madhya Pradesh): Secured gold in Thang-Ta (Phunaba Ama 56 kg category).

  • Harshal Joge (Maharashtra): Clinched gold in boys' 800 meters race. 

  • 🐘 Mascot & Branding

  • Mascot: Gajasimha – symbolizes the strength of an elephant and the courage of a lion, inspired by the Pala dynasty's heritage from Nalanda and Bodh Gaya. 


🎮 Esports Debut

For the first time, KIYG featured esports as a demonstration event, including titles like:

  • Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)

  • Street Fighter 6

  • Chess

  • eFootball
